Well, today was a bit better in terms of setting rock, however, it began to rain about 9:30am and it continued for the next several hours. Rick and his son got soaked. They were able to get in a few hours before they ran out of the back-fill gravel rock. And when they ran out, they called it a day. They were able to set more of the base and also had a chance to place more rock behind the base.

Tomorrow is Easter Sunday and the only day in which just a slight chance of rain is expected. So our window of opportunity for a dry day in which to progress will have to be forfeited. The forecast for the days following tomorrow all call for rain. I guess Rick will have to take it one day at a time. He can work in light rain, but the heavy rain is just too much. Time will tell.

I took most of the pictures below from the spare bedroom upstairs. They all look rather similar, however, they are slightly different, showing placement of rock.

The wall is coming along.

Steve and I are really liking how the wall is taking shape.
